AI-Learners is a startup that makes learning math fun, personalized, and accessible for kids with disabilities. Other existing educational websites are often inaccessible and stressful, and fail to keep students engaged. AI-Learners aims to show that with the proper tools, kids with disabilities can succeed academically. Visit their website at ai-learners.com.
As a UX designer, my primary responsibilities were to work with 1-2 other UX designers to redesign the AI-Learners website's six main pages: Landing, Games, Analytics, Avatars, Videos, and Company. I developed user flows, created accessible high-fidelity page designs, and collaborated with software and business teams to find optimal solutions.
In January 2022, I was chosen to be the Design Project Manager. My additional responsibilities in this role included managing our team of four UX and game designers, leading twice-daily work sessions during the winter internship, and working with company leadership to plan design team goals, projects, and specific tasks for each member.
I’ve already learned so much from my time at AI-Learners, and I’m eager for all the new learning experiences that are sure to come.
